Seoul Tag 3

Der montag war dann ziemlich matschig, weil es nachts geschneit hatte und morgens wieder geregnet. Trotzdem habe ich mich auf den Weg zum "Gyeongbokgung Palast" gemacht, dem groessten in Seoul und ehemaligen Koenigssitz. Das Zentrum bildet die Thronhalle [Bild 1], aber das riesige Gelanede hat noch viel mehr zu bieten. So findet sich hier ein grosser Garten mit einigen Pavillions [Bild 2] und eine Vielzahl weiterer Gebaeude, in denen der gesamte Hofstaat untergebracht war. Danach brachte mich die U-Bahn etwa 40min weg von der eigentlichen Stadtmitte aber ich war immer noch mittendrin. Gangnam ist das finanzielle Zentrum mit vielen lustigen Gebaeuden... [Bild 3] Aber der Hauptgrund meiner Fahrt hierher, war der "Bongeunsa Tempel" [Bild 4], der auch heute noch genutzt wird. In einem der Hauptgebaeude sind ueber 3300 goldene Buddha-Statuen untergebracht [Bild 5]... und mit dem letzten Bild verabschiede ich mich dann aus Korea und mache mich auf den Weg nach Deutschland. ^^



Monday was pretty muddy, as it has been snowing at night and raining in the morning. However, I went to the "Gyeongbokgung Palace", the largest in Seoul and former royal palace. It's center is the throne hall [pic 1], but there is much more to see in this huge area. There is a big garden with a lot of pavillions [pic 2] and many more buildings, housing the whole royal court. Then, the subway brought me 40 minutes away from the city center and I still was in the middle of town. Gangnam is the financial center with its many funny buildings... [pic 3]. The main reason to come here was the "Bongeunsa Temple" [pic 4], being still used today. In one of the main buildings, there are more than 3300 golden Buddha statues [pic 5]... and with this last picture [6], I'm saying goodbye and I'm on my way to Germany. ^^
